1. Who we are

BeatEPS is an independent software project focused on earnings analysis and pre-earnings workflows. In this document, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to BeatEPS and its creator(s).

2. What data we collect

We collect and process the minimum amount of personal data needed to operate the service, including:

  • Account data: your email address (and optionally your name) used for login, Stripe billing, and service notifications.
  • Authentication data: technical tokens, session cookies, and identifiers needed to keep you signed in securely.
  • Subscription data: information about your BeatEPS PRO subscription status (active, trialing, canceled), trial dates, and related billing metadata.
  • Usage data: high-level analytics such as which pages are visited, which tickers are opened, and basic performance metrics, usually in aggregated or pseudonymous form.
  • Support and communication data: messages or emails you send us when you request support, feedback, or other assistance.

3. How we use your data

We use your data strictly to operate, secure, and improve BeatEPS, for example:

  • To create and manage your BeatEPS account.
  • To authenticate you and keep your sessions secure.
  • To manage subscriptions, invoices, and payments through Stripe or similar payment processors.
  • To send important service-related communications (for example, login links, security notices, and billing updates).
  • To understand aggregated usage patterns and improve the product design, performance, and reliability.

We do not use your personal data to create consumer profiles for sale to third parties, and we do not sell your personal data.

4. Cookies and tracking

BeatEPS uses cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Keep you logged in between page visits.
  • Remember essential technical preferences.
  • Optionally measure anonymous or aggregated analytics (for example, via privacy-friendly analytics tools).

You can control cookies at the browser level. If you disable essential cookies, some core functionality (such as signing in) may stop working.

5. Data processors and third parties

We may use third-party service providers (“processors”) to host infrastructure, manage authentication, process payments, send emails, and run analytics. Typical categories of providers include:

  • Cloud hosting and databases: for storing application data and running the backend.
  • Authentication and identity: to handle secure login, sessions, and account management.
  • Payment processors: such as Stripe, to handle subscription billing and invoices.
  • Email providers: to send login links, password resets, and service notifications.
  • Analytics and monitoring: to understand adoption, performance, and errors in aggregate.

These providers only process personal data on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions. We aim to choose reputable providers with appropriate security and privacy practices.

6. Business transfers and changes of ownership

If BeatEPS, or substantially all of its assets, is acquired, merged, sold, or undergoes any other business transaction or corporate restructuring, your personal data may be transferred to the new owner or successor entity as part of that transaction. This is standard practice in the operation of software and online services.

Any such transfer will be carried out for legitimate business purposes (such as continuing the operation of the Service) and in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection laws. The new owner will take over the rights and obligations regarding your personal data as set out in this Privacy Policy.

We do not “sell” personal data as defined under U.S. state privacy laws (including the California Consumer Privacy Act, CCPA). If a future change to this definition or our practices requires additional disclosures or opt-out mechanisms, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly.

7. Data retention

We retain your personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to operate BeatEPS, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

If you close your account, we may retain certain limited data (for example, billing records or security logs) where we have a legal or legitimate business reason to do so.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data, including the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal or contractual retention requirements.
  • Object to or restrict certain types of processing in specific circumstances.

If you would like to exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details at the end of this Policy. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request.

9. International data transfers

BeatEPS may process and store data on servers located in different countries. As a result, your personal data may be transferred across borders and processed in jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws than your home country.

Regardless of where processing takes place, we aim to apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data and follow applicable legal requirements for international transfers.
